My name is Traci. I am 48 going on somewhere in my 20s. I have three boys, ages 18, 16 and 11. I watched hockey for many years and never really understood the game until I was in NJ and someone took me to see a live NJ Devils game. I was hooked immediately. I pulled up every hockey related site and began to learn the terminology (I had the sheet of terms in front of me as I was watching a game). I am a workers compensation claims examiner in my professional life. My wonderful husband James is also a big time hockey fan (His team is the Capitals). We live in Tacoma WA so the only hockey I can see live is by going to the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) or a 3 1/2 hour drive to cross the Canadian Border to watch the Canucks (not much of an option). Still hoping Seattle can secure a NHL team soon. The market is more than due. Fantasy hockey is a passion and now that I have graduated from graduate school, I can spend more time at it. Even introduced mom to hockey last year and now she cannot wait for the season to start. Guess you are never too old to become a new hockey fan
