I propose that prospects be allotted more than 40 games in the NHL before we drop them or have to put them on the regular roster. Reason being it will take quite a bit longer than 40GP for prospects (excluding maybe the very top picks) to make any impact whatsoever in fantasy pools and I can see these players dropping like flies in favour of proven NHL players in the FA pool. This would make the hour long, 10 prospect roster draft completely redundant. What do you think, Warlock? Maybe we'll have a better feel for our little guys after 80GP?

Well I'm open to anything really...the 40 game mark is half the season,so Usually you can tell how well a player is doing at that point.Part of this type of league is playing younger players, and developing them.It also might make it tougher each year to add additional prospects if many aren't being moved up to the NHL teams.I tried to have as many roster spots in the yahoo league, expecting there to be a few young players who might not contribute much, but have high upside.Part of my draft strategy was to go with mostly younger players, and mix in a few veterans to balance it out. Like I said,I'm open to suggestions, and would be willing to put it to a league vote.My feeling is add another 20 games at most up to 60 if we add any at all. Thanks for the input Frenchy! or whatever your name is...
